Sabotage bound to happen, warn 2 Umno men FMTNews FMTEng
Two Umno leaders say there is dissatisfaction with president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi’s leadership and the call to work with Pakatan Harapan.
Speaking on condition of anonymity, an Umno leader from Selangor claimed that members were unlikely to vote for the party this time around, citing three reasons. “They are not happy, but they do not want to vote for other parties, so they will not come out to vote.” “You may see members campaigning for PH or BN candidates now, but on polling day, they will end up voting for the opposition or will not turn up at all.
He said Umno members must focus on ensuring support from BN and PH grassroots as well as undecided voters.
