Hakim Ahmad Bache membuat keputusan itu selepas menolak rayuan Peter, 52, selaku perayu untuk mengetepikan sabitan dan hukuman yang diputuskan oleh Mahkamah Sesyen pada 26 Mei 2022. Pada Jun tahun lepas, Peter memfailkan rayuan terhadap hukuman penjara dan denda yang dijatuhkan oleh Hakim Azura Alwi selepas mendapati dia bersalah atas pertuduhan berkenaan.
