He highlights the importance of providing essential utilities like clean water and electricity, particularly in rural areas, to improve the quality of life, stimulate economic growth, and attract investment. Hajiji also stresses the need to bridge the development gap between urban and rural areas and calls for continued cooperation between the federal and state governments to ensure equal opportunities for all Sabahans.
KOTA KINABALU: Kerajaan Persekutuan perlu memberi keutamaan dalam pembangunan infrastruktur asas dan utiliti di Sabah dalam Rancangan Malaysia Ketiga Belas , yang memerlukan perhatian khusus di negeri ini.
“Ini penting bagi mencipta persekitaran yang kondusif untuk pertumbuhan sosioekonomi yang mampan di Sabah,” katanya dalam teks ucapan yang disampaikan oleh Timbalan Ketua Menteri, Datuk Shahelmey Yahya pada sesi libat urus RMK-13 bersama kerajaan negeri di sini hari ini.
