Kota Kinabalu: The Government has paid land and structure compensation totalling RM1.147 billion to involved owners as of April 1 this year for the Pan Borneo Highway project in Sabah, said Deputy Chief Minister and Public Works Minister Datuk Shahelmey Yahya.
This sum includes RM651 million in compensation to 1,591 land and structure owners up to 2019 for 12 work packages when the project was under the project delivery partner system.
