Beliau berkata pada masa ini sudah ada pelabur dari China ke Sabah antaranya Kumpulan Kibing yang melabur dalam pembuatan kaca solar di Taman Perindustrian Kota Kinabalu, menurut kenyataan media.“Kehadiran pelabur-pelabur ke Sabah bukan sahaja mampu meningkatkan ekonomi negeri malah dalam masa sama dapat memberi peluang pekerjaan kepada penduduk tempatan.
"Oleh itu, saya berharap lebih banyak lagi pelabur dari negara China melabur ke negeri ini dan kita amat mengalu-alukan kehadiran mereka.
