A Saanich family is upset that no information was made public after their pet dog was attacked by a cougar in their backyard.
A family in Saanich says their pet dog was attacked and is coming forward after no information was released to the public.
“I was terrified because it sounded like she was being attacked or mutilated, I didn’t know. Scrambled to get the light on my phone to work, and when I did, I saw this golden-coloured body, and under it, I heard the yelps of my dog,” said Regehr.
