A married couple in Singapore went viral recently thanks to what netizens dubbed “precision family planning” as get this, all four of their children share the same birthday on 6 September!
The couple, 49-year-old aircraft technician Salihin Ahmad Perbah and 39-year-old housewife Khairunnisa Abdul Karim revealed that they definitely didn’t plan for all four children to share the same birthday. Of course, having all your children share the same birthday does have its advantages and Salihin asserted that it is easy to remember and money-saving as there is no need to hold birthday celebrations of different days at various places.
Meanwhile, Dr Jazlan Joosoph, the obstetrician and gynaecologist at Raffles Hospital who managed the births of all four children said that it is uncommon for more than two siblings to share the same birthday, especially if all were natural births.
