Russia's government has been forced to own up to its errors as shocking reports emerge that everyday civilians not fit for service are being conscripted, seven months into the war against Ukraine.
In a televised address on September 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered a partial military mobilisation in a bid to bolster forces in Ukraine.
