The National President of Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN), Dr. Musa Muhammed Maitakobi, has enjoined members of the association to remain law abiding and eschew conduct capable of leading to disturbance of public peace.

Maitakobi gave the charge during the inauguration of the new executive committee of Ekiti State chapter at the RTEAN headquarters in Abuja, at the weekend. He stressed that justice; equity and friendliness should serve as the key to success of the organisation.

Specifically, the RTEAN President told the Ekiti State chairman, Sunday Adeola: “You should understand at all times, that yesterday, you were a follower, but today, you have become a leader. So, in words and actions, you have to be a model of good conduct and set good examples for your followers.” Adeola commended the national chairman for finding him worthy to be honoured with the appointment, even as he prayed that God will imbue him with “knowledge, wisdom and understanding to give RTEAN members courage to protect the association’s reputation wherever they find themselves.
