Transport Minister Anthony Loke said the digitalisation concept had already been initiated through the RTD Digitalisation Strategic Plan 2021-2025 with various initiatives, including information technology infrastructure plans, governance and competency. “JPJ eBid has been in place since 2019 and in the next two years, many more digitalisation initiatives will be implemented by JPJ,” he told reporters after officiating RTD’s 77th anniversary celebration themed “Digitalisasi Kebitaraan JPJ”, which was held for three days from Friday in Seremban.
He said the use of Enforcement Action Camera and Smart Enforcement Device, which focuses on RTD Touchless Operation as well as High Speed Weigh-in-Motion system technology are also being intensified for a more effective enforcement.
