The ranking compares 167 cities in 63 countries based on 28 factors, including how accessible they are by train or boat, the size of the cycle path network and the air quality.
In third and fourth place are Graz in Austria and Munich in Germany, while Norway's Trondheim comes out fifth in new research on city destinations for mindful travellers.
