BAGUIO CITY – The Rotary Club of Makati Ayala Triangle donated 200 books requested by Mayor Benjamin Magalong for kindergarten and elementary pupils here on Thursday, Feb. 6.

MAYOR Benjamin Magalong receives 200 books for kindergarten and elementary pupils donated by the Rotary Club of Makati Ayala Triangle and delivered by artists Mylene Myse Salonga and Carmela Geisert.

Magalong received the donation delivered by artists and RCMAT members Mylene Myse Salonga and Carmela Geisert. Magalong turned over the donation to Juliet Piok, senior education program specialist; Jackson Caya-os, principal of Baguio Central School, and Helen Acop, principal of Lucban Elementary School.

“These books are a great help to our school and I am grateful to RCMAT, and to our two international artists who delivered them. I hope the community outreach continues,” said Magalong. Salonga said that RCMAT is a well-known organization that helps the community and donates food to school children and various sectors.
