Valentino Rossi was flooded with happiness thanks to the brilliant performance of the riders who graduated from the VR46 Academy, namely Francesco Bagnaia, Marco Bezzecchi and Luca Marini, in the MotoGP race at the Red Bull Ring, Austria.

Rossi watched the race from the edge of the circuit. He looked tense several times when Bezzecchi tried twice to overtake Gresini racer, Alex Marquez, but failed each time. Rossi finally smiled relieved and applauded after Bezzecchi's third attempt successfully overtook Marquez at turn 1. Several minutes later, it was Marini's turn to overtake Marquez at turn 9 and finish in fourth place.
"Yes, we discussed a lot with Marco, the target is to keep him and Luca in the team for next year," expressed Rossi before the race to TNT television."I am very happy to feel his love and his drive to keep striving together with the team. We have been working together for years, and I hope everything will be fine."
