The Rose of Tralee is coming back with a bang this summer - and with a brand new venue roseoftralee
After a two year hiatus due to the pandemic, organisers of the annual International Rose of Tralee festival confirmed it is returning in August.
But in a change of scenery, the televised shows will be broadcast from the Munster Technological University’s Kerry Sports Academy. The radio station reports that Executive Chairman of the Rose of Tralee International Festival, Anthony O’Gara says they had planned to move to a new venue before the Covid-19 pandemic hit.“Of course in March of 2020 the roof came in and we all had to stop what we were doing. “It’s great we have finalised our plans to use the Kerry Sports Academy which is an extraordinary facility in the north campus of MTU in Tralee.”Get breaking news to your inbox by signing up to our newsletter .
