The NBA has issued suspensions and fines following a brawl between the Houston Rockets and Miami Heat.

Houston Rockets forward Amen Thompson and Miami Heat guard Terry Rozier were suspended without pay for their roles in an on-court altercation during a game between the two teams. Thompson was suspended for two games, while Rozier was suspended for one game. Jalen Green of the Rockets and Tyler Herro of the Heat were each fined $35,000 and $25,000 respectively for their involvement in the fight.

Rockets coach Ime Udoka was fined $50,000 for verbal abuse of an official and for failing to leave the court in a timely manner. The fight began when Herro leaned into Thompson, who responded by throwing Herro to the floor. Green and Rozier then joined the fray. All four players were ejected from the game after receiving technical fouls. Earlier in the game, Rockets guard Fred VanVleet was fined $35,000 for making reckless contact with an official
