Vice President Leni Robredo will go back to Mindanao as she revealed plans in the last week of the campaign season, while she also shared that her ticket’s Miting de Avance will be held at the National Capital Region on May 7.
After canceling her scheduled trip to Cebu because gubernatorial candidate Ace Durano chose to go with his party’s choice for presidential bet, former Senator Ferdinand Marcos Jr., Robredo went on Facebook Live to map out where she and her daughters—Aika, Tricia, and Jillian—had been since the start of the campaign season last Feb. 8.
Robredo said she would have wanted to have one more week to campaign. “Kulang na kulang po ang araw. Sana meron pang isang linggo ,” she said on Tuesday night, April 26. During her birthday rally in Pasay City, former Senator Antonio Trillanes IV revealed that internal surveys showed Robredo is catching up with Marcos in Mindanao.“Marami pa, kulang na ang oras ,” Robredo lamented.
Robredo will be in Bulacan today for “Republika 2.0” with reelectionist Bulacan Gov. Daniel Fernando while she will be in Quezon province on Thursday, April 28, Laguna on April 29, Batangas on April 30, and Cavite on May 1, Labor Day.She’ll foray into the so-called “Solid North” on May 2, with a probable stop in Baguio City as her volunteers posted on Twitter, though the Vice President said this will be “mainly to thank volunteers.
