“Robey has been outstanding,” said Islanders general manager and head coach Jim Hulton. “When we traded Franky, there was a lot of trepidation around here because he had been such a big part of it. In 26 games, the six-foot-three and 200-pound Robillard has a 13-12 record in 26 games along with a 3.29 goals-against average and a .908 save percentage.

“I was really grateful to get the opportunity to play and showing they made the right decision and proving everyone wrong in a way.”Robillard is one of the players who will have to be at his best for the Islanders in the post-season. Charlottetown opens the best-of-seven first-round series against the regular-season-champion Quebec Remparts in Quebec City on March 31.
