But for one Yew Tee resident, a row of flags along the side of Choa Chu Kang North 7 became a safety issue.

She shared a video taken from the spot where she usually crosses the road and the billowing flags made it hard to see the vehicles coming towards her. "I wish the people who install stuff along the pavement would pay attention so they don't obstruct the pedestrian's view."
