KOTA KINABALU: A man’s action in questioning another driver why he did not put on his car's indicator before turning into another lane ended up with him getting punched in the face.

The 26-year-old victim in Labuan was driving along Jalan Patau Patau at around 6.09pm on Wednesday , while the alleged attacker was driving in front of him.

According to the record from the victim’s car dash camera, he had shifted to the right lane while the man driving the other car in front of him did so too, but without putting on his turn signal. It is unclear what happened after that but the car in front stopped and the driver then got out of the car and started shouting.

The video recorded a woman’s screaming saying"don’t have to be this way," while a woman also got out of the front car with her baby after that. It is learnt that the victim was then assaulted when he got out of his vehicle to confront the attacker as sounds of scuffle were heard through the video.Labuan police officials said the case is considered solved as they have identified the attacker, but refused to give more details on it.
