Kota Kinabalu: The State Government announced a contribution of RM655,000 towards the Palestine Peaceful Humanitarian Fund to ease the suffering of Palestinians caught in the ongoing conflict between Hamas and Israel in Gaza.

Various agencies, bodies and organisations in the State also contributed to the fund. Speaking at the Humanitarian Gathering for Palestine organised by United Sabah Islamic Organisation and a coalition of Sabah non-governmental organisations , Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor also urged the United Nations to leave no stone unturned in stopping the Israeli Zionist actrocities there.
