PETALING JAYA: An estimated RM38 million in cash and approximately 200kg of gold was seized during a multi-agency raid which saw a businessman with the title Datuk and his accomplices arrested on Monday. According to a source, the operation led by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission successfully dismantled a syndicate involved in corruption, breach of trust, smuggling, and illegal tax reduction.
“As a result, a businessman with the title Datuk and his accomplices were arrested, and an estimated amount of RM38 million in cash, approximately 200kg of gold worth around RM60 million, and 17 luxury cars were seized,” said the source.Subscribe to our newsletter and get news delivered to your mailbox.
