RM174k for 11 recipients

KUALA LUMPUR: Assistance worth RM174,000 was handed over to 11 recipients of the Social Security Organisations (Socso) schemes.

The recipients are beneficiaries under the Employment Insurance System , Personal Social Employment Security Scheme and Housewife Social Security Scheme .

“Aside from being able to get closer to the community, especially the vulnerable group, the Iftar ceremony today would help them to alleviate their burdens ahead of the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations soon,” he said in his speech yesterday. “For three months, employers who hired from these groups from Jan 1 would receive RM600 per month,” Mustapha said.
