The Rizal Provincial Government will start accepting applicants for the Rizal Provincial Government Scholarship Program dubbed as “Iskolar Ni Gob” on February 20.
Rizal Governor Nina Ricci Ynares said qualified Grade 12 students who are incoming college freshmen, either from public or private school, who are residents of the province for at least three years and have attained at least 85 percent in all the subjects in the first semester, may apply.
Other basic documentary requirements are: certified true copy of Grade 12 Report Card duly signed by the registrar and principal with grades not lower than 85 percent in every subject taken in the first semester, a photocopy of the NSO or PSA birth certificate; photocopy of voter’s ID or Certificate of Registration issue by Commission on Elections for the applicants and parents/guardian, and two pieces of 2X2 sized ID photo with name.
For those enrolled in private schools, accomplished application form should be submitted at the Rizal Provincial Government Scholarship Office at the 4th floor of the provincial capitol in Antipolo City. There will be a qualifying exam on July 22, 2023 while the announcement of passers will be on August 14.
For inquiries, applicants may call the Scholarship Office from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at 8256-3000 local 4221.
