River Kings shake off the rust in home opener
The game was tied 3-3 until the 8:58 mark in the third period when the River Kings proceeded to net four.
The top powerplay unit and first line of Ryan Roseboom, Colin Bell and Connor Onstein will be relied on heavily throughout the season, according to management. The reigning CIHL champions had some rust to shake off in the first two periods, but Francoeur said the team’s skill came through in the third.
