The event aimed to mobilize various organizations and sectors of society and enhance awareness of the WPS advocacy.
A total of 200 participants from various riding communities and sectors in the province of Ilocos traversed major roads on Saturday, traveling from Narvacan to Vigan, Sinait, and Candon, Ilocos Sur .
It was organized by the Regional Emergency Assistance Communication Team Region 1, the 1st Civil Relations Group CRSAFP, and the Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur. Ride for the West Philippine Sea culminated at Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College in Candon City, where a short program was held.
