Celis señaló que después de la pelea entre Canelo y Munguía, tuvo contacto con la publicista personal del boxeador jalisciense y esta le dijo que existía la posibilidad de que Celis entrevistara a Canelo en su campamento en Lake Tahoe, sin embargo, ya no recibió más respuestas cuando trató de arreglar más detalles de la entrevista. “No creo que nadie tenga el poder suficiente para vetar periodistas”, declaró Celis.
