Umat Kristian dan aktivis hak asasi manusia menyertai tunjuk perasaan demi membantah peningkatan diskriminasi kaum.Ribuan orang Kristian, yang mewakili hampir 79 denominasi, mengadakan protes di New Delhi, ibu kota India pada Februari 19 lalu, bagi membantah peningkatan diskriminasi perkauman terhadap mereka.

Di negeri-negeri itu, yang diperintah oleh Parti Bharatiya Janata adalah pro-Hindu yang menyokong undang- undang anti-penukaran agama.
