Just another week in Trudeau\u0027s Ottawa
The glum faces of some cabinet ministers when Poilievre was whirring the rhetorical Veg-O-Matic suggested that some of them were thinking of calling 911 before their leader utterly cratered. Poilievre, on the other hand, looked like a man having a grand old time.
Even the Liberals, in the subdued sanctuaries to which they retreat when cold winds blow, must admit to themselves that Poilievre is at least the equal of Trudeau, and, in the matter of making a case or presenting an argument, easily his superior. This matters in a campaign.
And what, pray tell, is wrong with a couple of microaggressions? Would they have preferred macroaggressions? A microaggression is a very small, a tiny, a minute, infinitesimal aggression. Surely one of the four or five most powerful people in all of Canada, the country’s minister of foreign affairs, can withstand a daisy-petal of sarcasm.Article content
