The tablet pairs seamlessly with Google smart home ecosystem
I could seamlessly control the temperature in my daughter’s room and two speakers placed throughout my home all while pulling my favourite images and video clips from the Pixel 7a phone and editing them on the tablet. It has the capability of connecting to Google TVs, lights, locks and cameras and all can be viewed in the Google Home app which has been redesigned for a more personalized and streamlined view from your lock or home screens.
Google Assistant works across all devices, making for a smooth transition from tablet to living room speaker to nursery thermostat. I’m not a techie, but I really feel in control of my household with the touch of a button or a simple “Hey Google” voice control. I’m keen to test a smart light and I’m on my way to becoming a fully fledged smart-home convert.

You can take a photo of some text and instantly translate it to another language or have your tablet search for those words on the internet. You could take a photo of a homework question and receive instant answers, or snap a pic of a menu item and instantly view images of that particular dish.
