KUALA LUMPUR: Police arrested a man for assaulting a waiter near a restaurant at Pandan Utama.
Ampang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Azam Ismail said the incident occurred around 6pm Tuesday in front of a restaurant at Lorong Pandan Pertama 5, Pandan Utama, Ampang.
"He went over, and the suspect suddenly threw a chain and padlock toward the victim and also tried to hit the victim's head with the chain," said ACP Mohd Azam in a statement on Wednesday . "The victim suffered injuries and swelling to his fingers and received treatment at the Ampang Hospital.
