Residents in Adelaide's western suburbs are pleading for more transparency over plans to build Adelaide Football Club's new headquarters at Thebarton Oval.
, with the Thebarton Community Centre to be demolished.
Under the Crows' proposal, Thebarton Oval and a new oval on Kings Reserve would be open to the public at certain times, rather than the current situation where Thebarton Oval is fully-fenced while Kings Reserve is open.Local resident Sue Marks is among a group of residents who say the council should have consulted with the community before negotiations began.
"It seems that there is the oval itself, plus there is Kings Reserve, which is the only piece of green space in the western area."
