The Los Angeles Rams are placing star wide receiver on injured reserve due to a lingering hamstring injury, according to multiple reports.
The 30-year-old receiver injured his hamstring on Aug. 1 during training camp and suffered a setback at the end of the month.
Kupp only appeared in 10 games last season due to a high-ankle sprain and had surgery to repair it in November. The Pro-Bowl wide receiver had 812 receiving yards on 75 receptions with six touchdowns last season before the injury. Kupp helped lead the Rams to a Super Bowl victory in 2021 after recording 1,947 receiving yards on 145 receptions with 16 touchdowns and was named Super Bowl LVI MVP and offensive player of the year.
