OC Transpo updated replacement buses Saturday and reassured passengers , but there is still no word on when the LRT will be back in service.
The O-Train system that currently runs from Blair Station in the east to Tunney’s Pasture in the west, was shut down abruptly during the afternoon rush hour on Monday after a routine inspection detected a potential problem.During an unrelated visit to the city this week Premier Doug Ford called the system “a real disaster”. Work on Stage 2 of the system is well under way.
“Key data analysis is being conducted to provide additional information for the return to service plan, with a view to providing a more comprehensive update on Monday, which will outline next steps.”
