Remembrance Day ceremonies begin this weekend in Durham and continue until November 11. Check out the full list here:
The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 606 will host a parade, service and observance, to remember soldiers present and past.Blackstock Lions will be hosting a ceremony for at the Main Hall of the Blackstock Recreation center at 10:30 am. The ceremony will migrate to the Cenotaph, at the corner of Old Scugog Road and Church Street for 11:11.
After the moment of silence, the ceremony will be concluded back at the Recreation Center with a lunch put on by the Blackstock Lions Club.Scarborough War Memorial York Civic Centre Cenotaph Members of the public can watch a livestream of the ceremony from Old City Hall on the City’sWe encourage those in attendance to wear a mask or face covering where physical distancing of two metres cannot be maintained.
