People looking to honour veterans — and those still serving — at a Remembrance Day ceremony will have the option to do so at multiple locations across Halifax Regional Municipality on Friday. | SaltWire

Members of the public will have the chance to attend a ceremony and/or parade after being restricted for the past few years due to the pandemic. The parade will begin at the Maritime Museum, proceed north on Lower Water Street, west on Duke Street and then south on Hollis Street where they will stop for the ceremony in front of Province House. Following the ceremony, the parade will proceed south on Hollis Street, then turn east on Sackville Street, north on Lower Water Street before ending on Prince Street.The parade will begin at the Cobequid Road Transit Terminal, proceed down Memory Lane to the Cenotaph and then return.from 10:40 a.
There will also be smaller ceremonies held throughout the city, including one at the Sailor's Memorial in Point Pleasant Park, as well as the Lower Sackville cenotaph, Cole Harbour Place, the MacDonald Memorial Legion Branch 156 in Lakeside and the St. Margarets Bay Legion Branch 116, according to the. People are encouraged to contact their local Legion to learn more about start times and other ongoing events.
