She proceeded to explain that she has received calls from residents who have not had their branches and brush from Fiona cleared due to extenuating circumstances. One example Benoit gave was of an elderly woman who had many trees in her yard and was unable to get all of it cleaned up. "I just wanted to put this out to see if we could look at one last go around in the spring for extenuating circumstances," said Benoit."I don't think there would be a lot of people, but maybe if there was a number they could call to explain their situation, and just say 'hey, I still have quite a bit here.'"A fallen tree in Truro in the wake of Fiona.
