KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 24 — The government’s decision to absorb the cost of driving licence fees for B2 motorcycles , taxis, buses and e-hailing providers will allow youth to find jobs in the gig economy, Transport Minister Anthony Loke said.

“For now, we are just conveying the news in a glimpse as we too just got to know now. It is a good surprise. “We need to check with the Finance Ministry on the proposed allocation, and then look at how it will be implemented,” Loke told a press conference at the Parliament building here today.
