As shared by GizmoChina, the device was spotted getting SIRIM certification with the model number 2303CRA44A. Like other Redmi devices in our country, the applicant’s name for the certification is Xiaomi Technologies Malaysia Sdn Bhd. No further details can be extracted from the listing, though the Note 12S is expected to be similar to the Note 11S but with improved specs. Xiaomi recently confirmed that the Redmi Note 12 series is launching in Malaysia today.
However, it is unlikely for the Note 12S to make its debut in our country today, as the event is touted to only feature the Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12 5G, Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G and the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G.
