“Pitch Perfect” star Rebel Wilson is “beyond proud” to share her first child, a girl named Royce Lillian, was born via surrogate in the past week.
“I am forever grateful to everyone who has been involved, , this has been years in the making,” she continued. “But particularly wanted to thank my gorgeous surrogate who carried her and birthed her with such grace and care. Thank you for helping me start my own family, it’s an amazing gift. The BEST gift!!”Wilson concluded: “I am ready to give little Roycie all the love imaginable. I am learning quickly...much respect to all the Mums out there! Proud to be in your club.
The actress didn’t share specifics, but added: “The universe works in mysterious ways and sometimes it all doesn’t make sense...but I hope there’s light about to shine through all the dark clouds.” Wilson has also kept fans in the loop with some health updates and decisions over the last few years. After vowing to make 2020 her “year of health,” she since shared with her weight loss journey as well as her struggles with polycystic ovarian syndrome and her decision to freeze her eggs.
