A 52-year-old Nova Scotia man had been arrested and charged after Prince District RCMP responded to a complaint of a suspicious person in Sherbrooke on Feb. 13. FileSHERBROOKE, P.E.I. — A 52-year-old Nova Scotia man was arrested after RCMP received a tip of a suspicious person in Sherbrooke on Feb. 13.
Police received a complaint of a suspicious person who appeared to be trying to gain access to a cottage around 5:30 p.m.Officers learned that the man had warrants for his arrest related to offences in Nova Scotia, Quebec and Newfoundland and Labrador. The man was scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 14 to face property offences-related and breach charges.
"We appreciate the quick thinking of the person who called in the suspicious person report and encourage others to contact police when they see suspicious activity," said P.E.I.
