Raja of Perlis undergoes successful leg surgery
The Raja of Perlis Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Putra Jamalullail has undergone successful surgery to repair his right leg and ankle at Putrajaya Hospital. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, April 2, 2023.
Istana Arau, in a statement today, said that Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin was in stable condition throughout the surgery, which started at noon and was completed without any complications at 6.40pm. It said that Tuanku Syed Faizuddin also expressed his highest appreciation to HPJ staff, including specialists and other health personnel, as well as all parties involved in ensuring the Perlis ruler’s treatment and surgery could run smoothly.
Raja Perempuan of Perlis Tuanku Tengku Fauziah Tengku Abdul Rashid and Raja Puan Muda of Perlis Tuanku Hajah Lailatul Shahreen Akashah Khalil were also present at the hospital when the surgery was performed.
