TIME and time again, the police have warned people to be careful when playing with fireworks during festive seasons – as well as the types of fireworks that are allowed in the country.
Recently, a video was posted on TikTok claiming that a few people were playing with fireworks, some of which hit a house.Gombak acting OCPD Supt Noor Ariffin Mohamad said investigations showed that the incident occurred at midnight on March 31.In the incident, a 24-year-old woman was injured on her thighs while a 19-year-old man was hurt behind his ears.
Supt Noor Ariffin advised the public to be careful and not to play with fireworks which could cause injuries and damage to property.
