PETALING JAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has started tabling Budget 2024 in Parliament on Friday (Oct 13) where he is expected to roll out bolder measures and reforms.

DURING the pandemic, the government allowed contributors to the Employee Provident Fund to withdraw their money under the i-Lestari, i-Sinar and i-Citra schemes.

On 16 March 2022, the government announced that it had agreed to allow EPF contributors to withdraw up to RM10,000 from their accounts. In the shadow of the increasing food prices and living costs, has the government allowed RM10,000 EPF withdrawals for all again?According to recent posts by the EPF on its official social media channels, despite what has been circulating on social media and reports by unscrupulous websites, the government has not authorised another round of EPF withdrawals.
