A recent viral post on social media claims that all Malaysians will be getting RM750 in cash aid from the Social Welfare Department. Is this true? Find out below.
In a post on its Facebook page, the SWD said that the social media post was fake news.
"The information on 'Financial Assistance RM750' spreading on social media site is FAKE," the department said in its post on Thursday . It added that the people are advised to get accurate information about SWD assistance from its official portal and social media channels only."Remember, not sure, do not share," SWD said in its post.
