Queensland Premier Steven Miles is forced to apologise in parliament after denying texting instructions to a factional ally. The truth is revealed in a bombshell report, damaging the Premier's credibility ahead of the state's election.
Sky News host Chris Kenny has condemned Queensland Premier Steven Miles after he was forced to apologise in parliament over the recent text message scandal . Mr Miles had formerly denied texting instructions to one of his factional allies, Ali King during Question Time last year. Nine News reporter Tim Arvier has exposed the truth in a bombshell report last night, revealing Mr Miles actually had send the text.
“This is another heavy blow to the Premier's credibility just seven months out from that state's election. “This bloke talks enough nonsense when he's making truthful arguments, but if he's prepared to deceive parliament like this, it's hard to see how voters could support him except through blind party loyalty.
