A 47-year-old Brisbane police officer has become the second cop charged with drink-driving this week.
Two Queensland police officers have been stood down after separate charges of domestic violence and drink-driving offences amid several other alleged breaches of police protocol.A 46-year-old senior sergeant from the Southern Region is expected to face court, after being arrested and charged with alleged domestic and family violence-related offences.
He was remanded in custody, suspended from the QPS, and scheduled to appear in the Richlands Magistrates Court on February 10. On Tuesday, police released a statement about a 41-year-old senior constable from Operations Support Command who was charged with high range drink-driving on January 4 after he was involved in a two-vehicle crash in Yamanto.
