A royal insider has revealed how the late Queen Elizabeth II refused to grant Edward VIII one final wish before his death in 1972.

Julie Alexander served as the ailing Duke’s nurse in the months leading up to his death in Paris in 1972 when his niece Elizabeth II made her final visit.
