William Provost scored three times and added an assist, while Nathan Brisson, Mavrick Gauthier, and Tomas Larouche each had a goal and an assist. Nathan Bolduc, and Nathan Baril added single marker for the Foreurs . Ivan Ivan and Samuel Johnson each had two goals and an assist, while Jude Campbell chipped in with a single marker for the Eagles .

Val-d'Or's Mathys Fernandez made 27 saves. Cape Breton's Nicolas Ruccia stopped 30 of 38 shots and recorded an assist.The Foreurs outshot the Eagles 38-32 while going 3-for-6 on the power play. Cape Breton was 1-for-3 with the man-advantage. Cape Breton will continue their six-game Quebec road trip on Thursday when they take on the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies.
