A 36-year-old Loganholme man has been charged with a string of drug and weapons charges after three properties were raided.

Police have smashed an alleged amphetamines drug ring, arresting a Loganholme man and charging him with 15 drug and weapons offences.

Detectives found three handguns, a large quantity of ammunition, $180,000 in cash, and 2.8kg of methylamphetamine with an estimated street value of $246,000 during a string of raids. Logan’s Tactical Crime Squad raided three Loganholme properties on Thursday after gathering intelligence. They then arrested the 36-year-old on Friday.He was intercepted in traffic by police, arrested, and held in custody after a brief court appearance on Friday.A 36-year-old Loganholme man accused of supplying methylamphetamine is arrested.

Detective Acting Inspector Nicola Brown said the arrest was a step forward in hampering the alleged distribution of drugs in the south-east.“Police have disrupted a serious supply chain of methylamphetamine that we know was being distributed across the south-east Queensland area,” Brown said. The ongoing work highlighted the police commitment to cracking down on unlawful weapons and dangerous drugs, she said.
