Boston’s PWHL franchise signed two players on Thursday afternoon, one being a Patty Kazmaier nominee and three-time national champion.She helped the team win a national titles in 2019, 2021 and 2023. She was twice named a finalist for the Patty Kazamaier Award as the NCAA’s top player.
In 2018, she played one season in the CWHL with the Calgary Inferno, scoring eight goals and 11 assists for 19 points in 26 games, earning that season’s Rookie of the Year.to a one-year deal. The 24-year-old spent last season with the PWHPA. In four seasons with the Harvard Crimson, Buckles recorded 14 goals and 30 assists for 44 points. She also represented Canada at the U-18 tournament in 2017.to a one-year contract.
